      SEPTIC SYSTEM INSPECTION

If you believe that your septic system might have an issue, then please give us a call for a free, no obligation inspection. Our initial inspection will locate your septic system, inspect the leach field, locate the septic tank, and discuss any concerns that you might have.

Our comprehensive septic system inspection includes the following:

      • Locating the septic system: We will reference your county septic system permits and permit documentation and compare those to your yard.
      • Inspecting the septic tank: Our inspector will open and visually inspect the tank and check the tank’s integrity, check the operation level of sewage, and check the risers and for water tightness or leaks.
      • Inspect the distribution box: Our inspector will also inspect the distribution box if the system has one, and we will make sure that it is free of any solid waste, scum, clogs or other debris.
      • Inspecting the leach field: Our inspector will check to make sure that there are no strong odors, mushy soil, swampy areas or any surfacing effluent in the leach field.
      • Checking system components: Our inspection will also make sure that any other system components are operating properly.
      • Tank pump-out: If needed, and approved, we will pump-out your tank. We recommend that your septic tank is pumped out once every three to five years depending upon the number of occupants in the house. The larger the family and daily usage, the more frequent the recommended pump-out frequency. Remember that frequent pump-out ensures that your leach field does not get prematurely filled with solid waste or clogged.
      • Testing your system: The last step to any inspection or maintenance is testing your system to make sure that everything is draining and functioning properly.
